Before your departure, please ensure that you check the following:

* Valid Passport - some countries require a minimum 6 months validity or more from date of entry

* Supply a copy of your passport to New England Travel

* Visas - Australian Passport Holders visa requirements for the countries you are visiting
            - Non Australian Passport Holders visa requirements for the countries you are visiting
              plus a current Australian Resident Return Visa.

* Tickets / Documentation as per names on passports

* Travel Insurance

* Vaccinations (please ask your GP)

* Luggage Limits - these vary depending on airlines and route of travel

* Carry-on hand luggage items allowances & restrictions
   (sharp items, medications liquids, aerosols & gels etc)

* International Driving Permit may be required

* Rental Car deposit requirements

* Emergency Contact Numbers / Contact details while travelling 
   Register your absence from Australia on
Smart Traveller (www.smartraveller.gov.au)
   (Please also advise New England Travel your email & phone contacts while overseas)

* Advise allergies, meal requests or special requirements

* Advise Airline / Car Rental / Accommodation Memberships

* Online check-in capability for Airlines

* Flight reconfirmations - some airlines require flights to be reconfirmed 72 hours prior to travel

* Contact your bank prior to travel for information on pin numbers, accessing funds & using credit cards overseas

* Prescribed medications required - some countries have strict conditions of what can be taken into a country.
   Please ask your consultant.

It is a recommendation to keep copies of your travel documents at home, with a friend or relative 
and separate to the originals while travelling.
